Suit over China's Web filter to target Acer A U.S. company will seek legal action against Lenovo, Acer Laptop Battery and Sony next week over their shipment in China of controversial software that the company says stole its programming code. Solid Oak Software may also take action against other PC makers that have started shipping the software, a company spokeswoman said in an e-mail late Thursday. She declined to give details of the action, but the company previously said it might seek a U.S. court injunction to stop PC vendors from shipping the program. The software, an Internet filtering tool that blocks pornographic and political content, copied files from Solid Oak's own Internet content control product, according to the Acer TravelMate 2300 Battery company. In recent weeks China ordered domestic and foreign PC makers to bundle the software, called Green Dam Youth Escort, with all computers sold in the country. many things in mind...work...study...even family.. Well for work...guess u have yet to face the greatest challenges coming..ppl leaving the company..especially all the veterans..how to survive man..been worked with headache this week and man..i cannot imagine wat will happen next fri as the most zai colleague is leaving on thurs...fri will be like 2012 sia..haha~ my TL says that we cannot always rely on him..but then again..the team has been relying on him for 4-5 yrs le..how sia..sighhhh... Study whilst..losing the fire to study..even exam is near..i got no fear at all..tat makes me really worried..my mind is so sian of studying..and yet exam is like tomolo le..haha~ dun worries..i did study a bit though.. now..my family..well...mum and dad have not been tat gd..reason becoz now my family is struggling financially..dad's temper is getting from worse to worst..mum's limit is breaking soon too...and me..i cannot do anything oso..all i can do..is when mum ask me for money..i... sunday: went to manly via manly ferry, met up witb bob and then he drove me to balgolah office, and did some stuff there, and then we decided to go to curl curl beach, we walked from south curl curl beach to north curl curl beach and we noticed that there are more ppl at north culr curl beach and so we decided to walk thru thw "walking track" which is from north curl curl to dee why beach, the first time it took us 40 minutes to walk and on da way back it was 30 minutes so it was an interesting walk with uphill and downhill and bushes and rocks and stuff, after our walks went to sis's place and had dinner and watched interesting documentary on channel 9 after whats good for u lol, and then went home, ohh what a walking day!
